Warwick is not only famous for its castle and lovely old buildings, it is also well known for having a great variety of Antique shops.
The wonderful Lord Leycester Hospital right in the center of Warwick, open to visitors throughout the year
One of Englands finest medieval castles and certainly one of the most popular tourist attractions in the UK. The first castle was built here on the banks of the river Avon in 1068, shortly after the Norman Conquest. The castles appearance mainly dates from the 14th century, but has been much altered inside since that time as its function changed from that of Medieval Fortress, to grand residence.
Medieval banquets are held and spectacular concerts and fire works displays are also an annual feature.
The Castle is open daily 10-6 Summer, 10-5 in the Winter. Tel no. 01926 406 600
